 5月2日（日本时间3日），在美国纽约时代广场举行的由金童推广公司（Golden Boy Promotions）和Matchroom Boxing联合主办的《Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves》赛事中，拥有业余9项冠军头衔的堤丽斗（志成）迎来了职业生涯首秀。在一场超羽量级6回合比赛中，他对阵美国选手拉韦尔·惠廷顿（1胜〔1次KO〕2负1平），最终以判定胜出。

堤选手的首席教练是拉斯维加斯著名的“冠军制造者”伊斯梅尔·萨拉斯。这场左撇子之间的对决以刺拳的比拼拉开序幕。堤选手主动施压，逐步逼迫惠廷顿。身高占优的惠廷顿在后退中使用刺拳和右勾拳进行反击，但回合后半段，堤选手掌控了主动，不断施加进攻。

On May 2 (Japan time May 3), at Times Square in New York, Golden Boy Promotions and Matchroom Boxing co-hosted the “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves” event, where nine-time amateur champion Reito Tsutsumi (Shisei Gym) made his professional debut. In a six-round super featherweight bout, he faced American Lavelle Whittington (1 win [1 KO], 2 losses, 1 draw) and secured a unanimous decision victory.

Tsutsumi’s head trainer is the renowned Las Vegas-based “champion maker” Ismael Salas. This southpaw-versus-southpaw battle began with a contest of jabs. Tsutsumi took the initiative, pressing forward and steadily backing up Whittington. Although Whittington, who had a height advantage, countered with jabs and right hooks while retreating, Tsutsumi took control in the latter half of the round, applying consistent pressure.

Round 2: Tsutsumi landed a left straight that forced Whittington back. Whittington retreated to the ropes and set up a defensive guard. Tsutsumi calmly searched for openings, cleverly creating chances to continue his offense.

Round 3: The fighters engaged in close-quarters combat, with Tsutsumi landing left uppercuts. However, Whittington maintained a solid defense.
Round 4: Whittington attempted to mount an offense with jabs, followed by a one-two combination and a right hook, though he rarely took the initiative and mostly relied on solid defense and counters.

Round 5: Tsutsumi tried to break through Whittington’s guard with left and right uppercuts but was unable to find a decisive opening.
Final Round: Tsutsumi maintained his offensive approach while Whittington continued to defend effectively, occasionally countering. The overall pace of the fight remained unchanged.

The final scores were 60-54, 60-54, and 58-56, awarding Tsutsumi a unanimous decision victory.

主导沙特阿拉伯政府直属项目“利雅得季（Riyadh Season）”的图尔基·阿拉尔谢赫大臣观看了堤选手业余时期的比赛录像，并深感其巨大的潜力，因此向他发出了参加此次重大赛事的邀请。由此，堤选手得以在前所未有的巨大舞台上迎来自己的职业首战。

Turki Alalshikh, the chairman overseeing Saudi Arabia’s government-backed Riyadh Season project, watched footage of Tsutsumi’s amateur fights and was greatly impressed by his immense potential. As a result, he extended an invitation for Tsutsumi to participate in this major event, giving him the opportunity to make his professional debut on an unprecedentedly grand stage.

Tsutsumi has also been appointed as an ambassador for The Ring magazine, which is owned by Chairman Alalshikh. His future progress as a professional boxer is now drawing significant attention.
