WBO World Welterweight Champion Brian Norman Jr. (USA, signed with Top Rank, 27 wins, 21 KOs, no losses, 2 no contests) has announced that he has "a big fight lined up" and confirmed he will return to the ring this summer.
His opponent will be Jin Sasaki (Hachioji Nakaya Gym, ranked No. 2 by the WBO at welterweight, 19 wins, 17 KOs, 1 loss, 1 draw). The fight is planned for late June to early July in Japan.

On March 29 (Japan time March 30), Norman Jr. successfully made his first title defense at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas, defeating challenger Derek Cuevas (Puerto Rico, ranked No. 13, 27 wins, 19 KOs, 2 losses, 1 draw) by TKO at 2:59 of the third round.
Sasaki, who scouted the bout, congratulated Norman Jr. after the fight and read aloud a challenge letter he had prepared in Japan, expressing his desire to make the fight happen this summer in Japan.

The undisputed heavyweight title fight between WBO, WBC, and WBA Super world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (Ukraine) — 23 wins (14 KOs), undefeated — and IBF world heavyweight mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois (UK) — 22 wins (21 KOs), 2 losses — has been officially announced by Queensberry Promotions. The bout will take place on July 19 (July 20 Japan time) at Wembley Stadium in London. The event will be broadcast on DAZN. The two fighters will meet again for the first time since their previous clash on August 26, 2023 (August 27 Japan time) at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.
