 Prime Video宣布，將於5月4日（日本時間5日）在美國拉斯維加斯T-Mobile體育館舉辦《Prime Video Boxing 12 Inoue Naoya in Las Vegas》賽事。四大組織超雛量級統一世界冠軍井上尚弥（大橋，29戰全勝，26KO）將迎戰WBA世界同級排名第1、IBF第7、WBO第10的拉蒙·卡爾迪納斯（美國，25勝14KO，1敗）。日本的Amazon Prime會員可免費收看此次直播。

井上自2021年6月19日（日本時間20日）在拉斯維加斯維珍酒店，以一記猛烈的左勾拳在第三回合擊倒IBF排名第一的邁克爾·達斯馬里納斯（菲律賓）以來，時隔約3年11個月重返拉斯維加斯擂台。

井上首次在拉斯維加斯登場是在新冠疫情最嚴重的2020年10月31日（日本時間11月1日），當時於MGM大酒店會議中心的“泡泡區”對陣澳大利亞的傑森·莫洛尼，該比賽為閉門舉行。

Prime Video has announced that “Prime Video Boxing 12: Inoue Naoya in Las Vegas” will take place on May 4 (Japan time May 5) at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, USA.
Undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (Ohashi Gym, 29 wins, 26 KOs) will defend his titles against Ramon Cardenas (USA, 25 wins, 14 KOs, 1 loss), who is ranked No. 1 by the WBA, No. 7 by the IBF, and No. 10 by the WBO.
Amazon Prime members in Japan can watch the event live at no additional cost.

This marks Inoue’s return to the Las Vegas ring for the first time in nearly four years, since he knocked out IBF No. 1 contender Michael Dasmarinas (Philippines) in the third round with a powerful left hook on June 19, 2021 (Japan time June 20) at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.

Inoue first fought in Las Vegas on October 31, 2020 (Japan time November 1) during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, defeating Australia’s Jason Moloney behind closed doors in the MGM Grand Conference Center “bubble.”

The Dasmarinas fight was held at a venue with a capacity of around 2,000 spectators. This time, however, the T-Mobile Arena can accommodate up to 20,000 fans. Inoue commented, “My only concern is how many people will attend,” though his growing popularity as Japan’s proud “Monster” suggests that concern may be unwarranted.

Currently, VIP ringside tickets are priced at $3,506 (approx. 515,000 yen), with standard seats starting at $156 (approx. 23,000 yen). Ticket sales have been strong, likely easing any worries Inoue may have.

Inoue vs. Cardenas is being heavily promoted on Top Rank’s social media channels.

Inoue’s fight against Dasmarinas drew an average viewership of 724,000 on ESPN. At the time, ESPN’s highest-rated boxing broadcast reached 1.306 million viewers (Shakur Stevenson vs. Jamel Herring), so high viewership numbers are expected once again.

  • WBO World Featherweight Title Fight: Champion Rafael Espinoza (Mexico, 26 wins, 22 KOs) vs. No. 11 contender Edward Vazquez (USA, 17 wins, 4 KOs, 2 losses, 1 no contest).

  • Featherweight 10-Round Bout: OPBF Featherweight Champion Kenshiro Nakano (Teiken Gym, 12 wins, 11 KOs), ranked No. 8 by the IBF, No. 9 by the WBA, No. 10 by the WBC, and No. 11 by the WBO, vs. former NABO featherweight champion Pedro Marquez (Puerto Rico, 16 wins, 10 KOs, 1 loss).

  • Welterweight 10-Round Bout: WBO No. 10 and WBC No. 15 Rohan Polanco (Dominican Republic, 15 wins, 10 KOs) vs. former world title challenger Fabian Maidana (Argentina, 24 wins, 18 KOs, 3 losses).

  • Super Lightweight 8-Round Bout: Emiliano Vargas (USA, 13 wins, 11 KOs) (opponent TBD).

The undisputed heavyweight title fight between WBO, WBC, and WBA Super world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (Ukraine) — 23 wins (14 KOs), undefeated — and IBF world heavyweight mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois (UK) — 22 wins (21 KOs), 2 losses — has been officially announced by Queensberry Promotions. The bout will take place on July 19 (July 20 Japan time) at Wembley Stadium in London. The event will be broadcast on DAZN. The two fighters will meet again for the first time since their previous clash on August 26, 2023 (August 27 Japan time) at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.
