At the No Limit Boxing main event, former WBO World Super Welterweight Champion and current IBF No. 10 Tim Tszyu (Australia) – 24 wins (17 KOs), 2 losses – faced Joey Spencer (USA) – 19 wins (11 KOs), 1 loss – for the vacant WBO Intercontinental Super Welterweight title. Tszyu won by TKO at 2:18 of round 4.

In the fourth round, Tszyu landed a straight right, followed by a furious combination targeting the body and head. As Spencer was backed into a defensive shell, Tszyu’s relentless barrage continued. Spencer became unable to respond, prompting his corner to throw in the white towel, ending the bout.

Tszyu, who had previously gone undefeated, suffered a surprising split decision loss last March 30 (March 31 Japan time) in Las Vegas against Sebastian Fundora (USA) – 21 wins (13 KOs), 1 loss, 1 draw – which cost him his world title. That fight was marred by a cut over Tszyu’s forehead caused by an accidental head clash at the end of round 2, impairing his vision.

Although many believed Tszyu’s first career defeat was primarily due to the cut and resulting vision problems, hopes for a quick comeback were dashed when he challenged IBF World Super Welterweight Champion Bakhram Murtazaliev (Russia/USA) on October 19 (October 20 Japan time) and suffered four knockdowns en route to a third-round TKO loss.

Coming off this unexpected defeat, Tszyu’s reputation had plummeted, and concerns loomed over his ability to rebound. However, he delivered an impressive victory against Spencer, smiling as he greeted his fans after the win. The large crowd applauded Tszyu’s successful comeback enthusiastically.

Juan Manuel “Juanmita” López Jr. – Second Professional Bout
Juan Manuel “Juanmita” López Jr., son of the former two-division world champion Juan Manuel López, fought his second professional bout. Facing Malik Quiñones, López Jr. secured another victory, continuing his promising start in the professional ranks.

At a co-promoted event by Miguel Cotto Promotions, Top Rank, and H2 Entertainment—“Boxeo Boricua en Aibonito”—19-year-old Juan Manuel “Juanmita” Lopez de Jesus (Puerto Rico), son of former two-division world champion Juan Manuel Lopez, fought in a 4-round super flyweight bout against Malik Quiñones (Puerto Rico), who entered with a record of 2 wins (2 KOs), no losses.

Early in the first round, Quiñones dropped Juanmita with a straight right, creating a dramatic start. Southpaw Juanmita quickly went on the offensive, focusing on his straight left and forcing fierce exchanges. Quiñones stood his ground and fought back aggressively, leading to an intense battle. The action remained competitive through four rounds, but Juanmita edged out a narrow split decision victory.

In his debut fight on February 14 (February 15 Japan time) at Madison Square Garden Theater in New York, Juanmita scored a first-round KO with a single left uppercut against Bryan Santiago (USA) – 1 win, 2 losses, 1 draw. His second opponent, Quiñones, proved to be a strong contender with two KO wins, resulting in an exciting and competitive 4-round contest.

The bout will take place on July 19 (July 20 Japan time) at Wembley Stadium in London. The event will be broadcast on DAZN. The two fighters will meet again for the first time since their previous clash on August 26, 2023 (August 27 Japan time) at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.
