On April 5 (April 6 Japan time), Top Rank hosted a major event at the Barys Arena in Astana, Kazakhstan. The main event featured a WBO & IBF World Middleweight title fight. Undefeated champion Janibek Alimkhanuly (Kazakhstan) — 16 wins (10 KOs) — defended his titles against IBF No. 7 and WBO No. 13 contender Anauel Ngamissengue (France) — also undefeated with 14 wins (9 KOs). Alimkhanuly won by fifth-round TKO.

In this homecoming fight, Alimkhanuly dropped Ngamissengue with a straight left at the end of the first round. In the fifth, as Ngamissengue pressed forward, Alimkhanuly slipped a right straight and landed a powerful straight left followed by a left hook, sending Ngamissengue crashing to the canvas. Though Ngamissengue managed to rise, he showed signs of damage, and the referee stopped the fight.

In the super featherweight 10-round co-main event, 28-year-old southpaw Sultan Zaurbek (Kazakhstan), ranked No. 2 by the WBA and No. 5 by the IBF — and known for a previous amateur victory over Rio Olympic gold medalist and former WBC world champion Robson Conceição — faced Azinga Fuzile (South Africa) — 18 wins (12 KOs), 2 losses — who had previously lost a 12-round decision to Kenichi Ogawa (Teiken) in 2021 for the vacant IBF super featherweight title.

In a battle between southpaws, Zaurbek applied pressure throughout and won a 10-round unanimous decision. The scores were 97-93, 97-93, and 96-94.

The undisputed heavyweight title fight between WBO, WBC, and WBA Super world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (Ukraine) — 23 wins (14 KOs), undefeated — and IBF world heavyweight mandatory challenger Daniel Dubois (UK) — 22 wins (21 KOs), 2 losses — has been officially announced by Queensberry Promotions. The bout will take place on July 19 (July 20 Japan time) at Wembley Stadium in London. The event will be broadcast on DAZN. The two fighters will meet again for the first time since their previous clash on August 26, 2023 (August 27 Japan time) at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.
