In the main event of a 360 Promotions card, he will face former world-ranked contender Mykal Fox (USA) – 24 wins (5 KOs), 4 losses.

Bohachuk, who held the WBC interim super welterweight title, lost the belt in his first defense on August 10, 2024 (August 11 Japan time) in Las Vegas. He was narrowly defeated by Vergil Ortiz Jr. (USA) – 23 wins (21 KOs) – via a 12-round decision (114-112, 114-112, 113-113). The close bout sparked considerable debate, with many believing Bohachuk deserved the win.

A comeback fight was scheduled for December 21, 2024 (December 22 Japan time) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against Israil Madrimov (Uzbekistan) – 10 wins (7 KOs), 2 losses, 1 draw – who had recently lost a close 12-round decision to Terence Crawford (USA) – 41 wins (31 KOs). However, Madrimov withdrew 11 days before the fight due to acute bronchitis.

Additionally, the Minnesota State Commission, which oversaw the bout, was asked to overturn the result and declare it a no contest. The scoring controversy intensified when it was revealed that judge Gloria Martinez Rizzo (USA), who scored the fight 117-110 and is the wife of Ricardo Rizzo, had made multiple racist remarks on social media. In response, WBA President Gilberto Jesus Mendoza stated, “Her scoring was incorrect,” and suspended Rizzo from officiating for six months.

However, the rematch never took place. Fox experienced a period of inactivity and returned to the ring on October 8, 2022 (October 9 Japan time) in Carson, California, facing Egidijus Kavaliauskas (Lithuania) – 24 wins (19 KOs), 2 losses, 1 draw. Fox was knocked down twice in the third round and lost by decision. Struggling to secure fights afterward, he finally returned to the ring in July last year after a 1 year and 9-month hiatus and has since secured two victories.

The bout will take place on July 19 (July 20 Japan time) at Wembley Stadium in London. The event will be broadcast on DAZN. The two fighters will meet again for the first time since their previous clash on August 26, 2023 (August 27 Japan time) at the Tarczynski Arena in Wroclaw, Poland.
